Growing up in upstate New York and navigating life with Asperger Syndrome, Richards found refuge in books, cartoons, and fantasy realms. His stories reflect themes of identity, perseverance, and unlocking hidden potential—often through magical transformations. The loss of his mother and personal experiences with being misunderstood shaped his deep empathy for underdog characters, making his writing especially resonant with young adults and fans of redemptive journeys.
When he's not writing, he enjoys Card Games, watching entertaining shows, and creating vibrant character art for his books and working on merchandise for fans.
