Writing wasn’t easy for me at first. Growing up with Asperger syndrome, I often found it difficult to express myself in ways others understood. I faced loss early on—my mother passed away when I was 12, and I had to come to terms with the pain of an abusive father. In all of that, writing became a safe place. It gave me a space where I could imagine new worlds, reshape my emotions, and build the kind of heroes I needed in my life.
At the beginning, most of my writing was fan fiction—stories based on the books, games, and shows I loved. They gave me comfort, direction, and a foundation to grow as a writer. But over time, something shifted. I began to wonder: What if I created my own world? My own heroes? That was when The Legend of the Sacred Knights started to form in my mind.
During the pandemic, with more time to reflect and create, I committed to bringing that world to life. Around that same time, I connected with a friend of my uncle—someone who happened to be a film director and screenwriter. His encouragement made me realize I could take writing seriously. It could be more than a private passion—it could be something I shared with the world.
The Legend of the Sacred Knights is not just a fantasy story. It's the product of years of growth, healing, and imagination. From those early fan fiction days to crafting Metazona from scratch, this book is a symbol of my journey—and proof that even the quietest voice can build something powerful. notable authors richards author site jeremy's literary inspirations
